Have you ever experienced something in life that was so terrible it felt like your stomach was ripping apart? 😔

How do you deal with these circumstances? If you are like me, and several others, you have tried many ways to cope. 🎂Unfortunately, sometimes drugs, alcohol, and binge eating become the answer in these situations.

Recently, I have been trying to sit in my problems. What does this mean? I just relax and get comfortable with being not happy at the moment. It does feel uncomfortable at first, but once the problem begins to melt away a feeling of accomplishment rises up. 😁

Life is not going to be perfect; we are going to have situations that cause us stress and sadness. It would be amazing if we could deal with these occurrences in a healthy way. If you can take a moment to get quite and still, and take the time to think about and process what is going on, it will be extremely healthy and beneficial for your body.

As I type this, I am being intentional about listening to my own advice. Next time I am stressed out I am going to do this and I hope you will too.
